Operation Overcome Champions
Robb Nash, a renowned mental health advocate, has delivered award-winning presentations for twelve years, introduced mental health curriculum in Canadian high schools, and champions Operation Overcome for Canadian youth in urgent need. He's received the Order of Manitoba, The Meritorious Service Medal from the Governor General of Canada and is recognized as a leader in mental health by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. His project garners support from organizations like the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba and the Canadian Mental Health Association, reshaping mental health awareness and care in Canada.
The Kelty Foundation, named after Kelty Patrick Dennehy, was founded by Kerry and Ginny Dennehy after the loss of their son to depression and later, his younger sister Riley. Since 2001, the foundation has achieved significant milestones in mental health including funding the creation of the Kelty Mental Health Resource Center at BC Children’s Hospital, the Kelty Patrick Dennehy Resource Center at the HoPE Center at Lions Gate Hospital among other significant accomplishments. Past partnerships include VGH, BC Crisis Center, Jack.Org, and Whistler Community Services Society.
